Our Story

Sal’s Ice is founded on a student’s love of experimentation, his love of cooking, and his ambitious entrepreneurial spirit! Sal’s Ice is handmade with a focus on traditional Sicilian style and is a tribute to his family ancestry connected to the town of Santo Stefano di Camastra, Sicily, which is known for its vibrant pottery. Sal’s Ice channels that spirit and vibrance into our products through local farm sourced fruits and our use of only high-quality ingredients. We not only support our local farmers, we also continue to support our local community through charitable donations.

The Sicilian Pinecone at the center of our logo symbolizes Positivity, Abundance, and Prosperity. In Sicily, it is a customary gift of well-wishing given in the community and often ceramic representations will decorate the entrances of homes. These three pillars of positivity, abundance, and prosperity are the foundations for establishing Sal’s Ice and our wishes for our customers and community.
